Brian Shirley Wins the 47th Annual Jackson 100...
Jeff Wilson Records Third Straight Pure Stock Victory.
Sept. 26, 2026 - It was another beautiful evening for night two of Jackson 100 weekend. A $50,000 top prize was up for grabs for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series with the running of the 47th Annual Willscot Jackson 100 presented by Jackson County Visitor Center. The "Bearded Hobo Brewery & Pub" Pure Stocks were also racing for $1000 to win.
You can finally call Brian Shirley a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series winner as the Chatham, Illinois racer became the 97th different winner on Saturday night at Brownstown Speedway. Shirley captured the 47th Annual WillScot Jackson 100 Presented by the Jackson County Visitors Center.
Shirley took the lead from Kyle Bronson on the 24th lap and led the rest of the way to not only pick up the $50,000 first place prize, but a $5,000 bonus from UNOH, and the fourth driver this year to be awarded a $1,000 check from Steering Buddy for becoming a first time series winner.
Shirley, who started ninth took the win withstanding challenges from Josh Rice before a caution with 14 laps to go. Shirley would pull away from the Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 winner to take the victory.
Rice finished in second with Max Blair taking the third spot. The defending Jackson 100 winner Ricky Thornton Jr., who led the first lap of the race, finished fourth with 3-time and reigning Indiana Icebreaker winner Devin Moran coming home in fifth.
Shirley scored his first win at Brownstown since a Summer Nationals victory in 2008.
Completing the top ten were Frank Heckenast Jr., Hudson O’Neal, Brandon Sheppard, Jonathan Davenport, and Carson Ferguson.
Jeff Wilson recorded his third straight win in "Bearded Hobo Brewery & Pub" Pure Stocks. Wilson now has four wins out of the last five Pure Stock races. Wilson went to the lead from the drop of the green. Trent Adams worked his way to second and started pressuring Wilson shortly after the halfway mark. After a late race caution restart, Blake Hull and Adams would battle each other second and allow Wilson to slightly open up his lead.
Wilson would go on to get the flag-to-flag win ahead of Trent Adams, Ross Smith, Blake Hull, and Cody Ellison. Completing the top ten was JT Huffman, Brad Kemp, Dalton Fleenor, Ashton Cohee, and John Mayer.

Tyler Cain Powers to Fifth Bowman Family 50.
Sept. 25, 2026 - It was great weather for the annual Jackson 100 weekend. Friday night featured the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series running for the $10,000 prize in the 5th Annual C.J. Rayburn Memorial. The Indiana Pro Late Models were also on hand for the "Bowman Family 50".
Hudson O’Neal returned Friday night to the track where he began his racing career and led wire-to-wire to win the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series C.J. Rayburn Memorial at Brownstown Speedway.
In addition to the $10,000 winner’s purse, O’Neal earned a $5,000 bonus from Big River Steel, bringing his total winnings to $15,000 for SSI Motorsports. O’Neal completed a clean sweep of the night and cut Brandon Sheppard’s championship points lead to 25 heading into Saturday night’s $50,000-to-win Jackson 100.
Sheppard passed Ricky Thornton Jr. with 10 laps remaining to finish second. Thornton rounded out the Big River Steel podium in third. Josh Rice and Brandon Overton completed the top five. Jonathan Davenport, Devin Moran, Clay Harris, Max Blair, and Mike Marlar completed the top 10.
The Indiana Pro Late Models sponsored by G & W Monuments competed in the "Bowman Family 50" with 36 Pro Late Models in attendance. Tyler Cain made it four straight Bowman 50 wins and his fifth career Bowman 50 out of the last six Bowman 50 events.
Victor Lee went to the lead from the start and paced the field for the first 13 laps. Cain took over the lead on lap 14 and began to stretch out a good lead. Several cautions slowed the 50-lap event, but after each restart, Cain would pull away and remain in front. The final caution would fly with 4 laps remaining giving the field one last chance to overtake Cain.
Cain would go on to get the win with Victor Lee, Skyller Lewis, Zach Stalker and Parker Perry following at the finish. Elliott Despain, Tucker Chastain, Zack Burton, Jug Wethington, and Tory Collins completed the top ten.

Michael Cranmer Captures Crown Vic Dirt Nationals.
Tyler Cain, Greg Amick, Jeff Wilson & Kaleb Caudill are Feature Winners.
September 19, 2026 - Racing action returned to the Speedway, after taking a week off from racing, with the running of the 3rd Crown Vic Dirt Nationals presented by Flag-2-Flag Media. A great field of forty-nine "Weston Auto Wrecking" Crown Vics were on hand for the evening along with the Pro Late Models, Super Stocks, Pure Stocks and Hornets.
Michael Cranmer captured his first win of the year in "Weston Auto Wrecking" Crown Vics and becomes a 2-time Crown Vic Dirt Nationals winner. Chris Workman was the early leader until Cranmer took over. Workman would not go away and kept Cranmer close during the thirty-lap main event. Workman made one last effort to retake the lead coming to the checkers, but Cranmer would hold him off and get the win in a near photo finish. Workman took second with Josh Spence, Anthony Finley and Jason Cranmer rounding out the top five.
Tyler Cain recorded his fourth win of the year in Pro Late Model action. Dustin Nobbe took the early lead and opened up a decent margin. Cain had worked his way to second from his fifth starting spot and set out to catch Nobbe. Cain took the lead near the halfway mark and went on to get the win. Nobbe would run second with Tucker Chastain, Zack Burton and Zach Stalker following.
Greg Amick scored a win in a great "Pewter Hall" Super Stock feature event, breaking the Sasser brothers 2026 winning streak. Tucker Chastain and Amick would race nearly side-by-side for the entire race and swap the lead multiple times. With five laps to go, the Sasser brothers joined the party with all four drivers fighting for the win. Amick, Chastain and Zach Sasser would be three wide on the last lap with Isaiah Sasser also in the battle. At the finish it was Amick leading Chastain by .01 seconds with Zach Sasser and Isaiah Sasser following. The top four cars finished within .4 seconds from first to fourth. Brad Cummings completed the top five.
Jeff Wilson parked in victory lane for the second straight "Bearded Hobo Brewery & Pub" Pure Stock feature event. This would be Wilson's third win of the year out of the last four races. Brad Kemp, Jeff Wilson and Matt Boknecht fought for the lead in the early part of the race. Wilson would be the one to put it out front with Boknecht in tow. Wilson and Boknecht would make it a good race with Wilson getting the win over Boknecht. Elijah Smith, Tommy Fleenor and Ashton Cohee would be third thru fifth.
Make it four straight wins for Kaleb Caudill in "NAPA of Brownstown" Hornets. Alex Wilson held a pretty good lead for most of the race until a late race caution bunched the field. Caudill who had worked his way to second from his tenth starting spot took the lead on the white flag lap as Wilson's car broke. Caudill got the win over Jeremy Shemwell, Bruce Wiles, Robert Lee and Nathan Reed.

Trey Mills is "John Gill Classic" Winner...
Zach Sasser, Jeff Wilson & Wayne Shoff Score Wins
September 5, 2026 - The Northern Allstars Late Models were once again in the house for the running of the inaugural "John Gill Classic". The Northern Allstars Late Model Series also held an induction ceremony for their Northern Allstars Late Model Hall of Fame. Steve Barnett, Jeff Wilson, Doug McCammon, Don O'Neal, and Terry Eaglin were all honored as the first members of the new Northern Allstars Hall of Fame.
St. Augustine, Florida's Trey Mills had never been to Brownstown Speedway, but had the perfect night for his first ever visit. Mills set overall fast time, won his heat race, won the dash for cash, and then took home $10,000 for winning the Northern Allstars Late Models "John Gill Classic". Mills and Hudson O'Neal brought the field to the green in the 50-laper. Mills jumped to the lead on lap one with O'Neal and Mark Marlar following. O'Neal would make it interesting near the end of the race, nearly taking the lead, but Mills held on for a flag-to-flag win. Trailing Mills, O'Neal and Marlar at the finish was Steve Peeden and Adam Stricker.
It was the Sasser brother's first and second again in "Pewter Hall" Super Stocks. Zach Sasser recorded his fourth straight win and seventh of the year at the track. Zach led all twenty laps with Isaiah Sasser running second. Behind the Sassers at the checkers was Tucker Chastain, Colton Sullivan, and Isaiah Smith.
Jeff Wilson earlier in the evening was inducted into the Northern Allstars Hall of Fame and then scored his second win of the year in Bearded Hobo Brewery & Pub Pure Stocks. A late race caution bunched the field for a two-lap shootout, however Wilson held on for the win. Trent Adams, Kaleb Nutter, Brad Kemp, and John Mayer completed the top five.
The Weston Auto Wrecking Crown Vics was a highly competitive race with Dalton Fleenor, Geremy Hays, and Wayne Shoff all leading throughout the feature event. When the checkers fell, it was Wayne Shoff getting his first ever Brownstown win. Matthew Weston, Davey Waggoner, Geremy Hays, and Brandon Lange rounded out the top five.
