2012 Racing Schedule Released
Brownstown Speedway has released the 2012 Racing schedule.

March Schedule:
The Car Show will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Cars will hit the track for practice starting at 3:00 pm.
Opening night will be March 10th with the Late Model, Super Stock, UMP Modified, Hornet and Pure Stock divisions running.
March 17th will feature the ILMS Late Models along with UMP Modifieds, Super Stocks, Hornets and Bombers.
The Lucas Oil Late Models will be in town on March 24th for the 15th Indiana Icebreaker. Ump Modifieds, Super Stocks and Bombers will also be on the card.
There will be no racing on March 31st.
RULES: The 2012 rules will be the same for all divisions except the Pure Stocks will be allowed to run headers and the Bombers may run a floater rear end as long as the stock mounting positions of the trailing arms are used. The Indiana Late Model division will have to add 50 pounds if using E85 fuel.
Scott Bloomquist Takes Fourth Career Jackson 100
Greg Amick Scores UMP Modified Win
Sept. 24, 2011 - Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, TN won his fourth consecutive Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series race as he won the Jackson 100 on Saturday Night at Brownstown Speedway.
The event sponsored by Bryan Bowman Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge earned Bloomquist $20,000. The victory also makes him the first 4-time winner of the annual event.
Bloomquist had to hold off the late race charges from Jimmy Owens of Newport, TN to take the win. Owens finished second followed by 19th starting Don O'Neal of Martinsville, IN; Jared Landers of Batesville, AR; and Scott James of Lawrenceburg, IN
In other action, Greg Amick in the UMP Modifieds also scored a feature win.

Kent Robinson Captures Hall of Fame Classic....
Lex, Clark, Fields, and Terrell Take Home Top Spots
Sept 17, 2011 - One week after making the World 100, Kent Robinson captured his first Super Late Model feature at Brownstown winning the 7th Annual Hall of Fame Classic. Robinson and Joe Janowski battled hard for the lead most of the 30 Lap feature with Robinson coming out on top. Tanner English, Greg Johnson, and Mike Jewell followed Robinson and Janowski rounding out the top five.
Richie Lex in the UMP Modifieds, Troy Clark in Super Stocks, Aaron Fields in Bombers and Alex Terrell in the Hornet division also picked up feature wins.
In Hall of Fame ceremonies, Bill Colwell, Ken "Hillbilly" Ogle, Steve Godsey and Darrell "Cooley" Singer were inducted into the Brownstown Speedway Hall of Fame.

Quintin Strope & Mike Fields Win Specials ...
Oneal, Crawhorn, Bradley, & Blankenbaker Visit Victory Lane
Aug 27, 2011 - Quintin Strope and Mike Fields took home the Hornet and Super Stock specials Saturday night. Strope picked up his fourth Hornet victory at the Speedway for 2011. Strope was followed at the checkers by Wesley Napier, Bryson Clark, Lucas Jackson, & Ryan Scott.
Mike Fields, a two time Super Stock Champion, got his first win of the season in the Super Stock main event. Rounding out the top five for the Super Stock special was Tyler Cain, Jamey Wilson, Tom Ault, & Jason Hehman.
In other racing action, Marty Oneal won the ILMS Late Model feature, Darren Crawhorn took home the Bomber hardware, Scott Bradley won the MMSA Mini Sprint feature, and Matt Blankenbaker took home the Pro Truck top spot.
