Devin Gilpin Takes Second Straight Super Late Model Win...
Carr, Perry, Cranmer & Moore Visit Victory Lane.

May 25, 2024 - The Slicker Graphics Super Late Models were on hand for a $2500 to win feature event as part of "Saturday Night Racing" on Memorial Day weekend.

Devin Gilpin got his second straight win in Slicker Graphics Super Late Models. Jared Bailey jumped to the early lead in the 25-lap feature and stretched out his lead over the rest of the field. Adam Stricker and Gilpin started catching Bailey as the race continued. Gilpin moved to second with seven laps to go and then took the lead for good with 4 laps remaining.

A charging Jordan Wever took second ahead of Stricker, Bailey and Dustin Linville. Rounding out the top ten was Tyler Collins, Zack Burton, Matt Boknecht, Cody Mahoney and Quentin White.

Branden Carr became the sixth different winner of the year in the highly competitive Pewter Hall Super Stocks. Blake Hull, Zach Sasser and Tucker Chastain all took turns at leading the feature event. Carr charging from his 12th starting spot using the high side caught race leader Tucker Chastain with 4 laps to go and went on to record his first win of 2024. Tucker Chastain, Zach Sasser, Isaiah Sasser and Trey Chastain trailed at the checkers.

The Crossroads Truck Equipment Pure Stocks feature was a good one. Hunter Perry maintained a good lead over Brent McMillan and Josh Turner for the first half of the race. Multiple cautions over the last half of the event kept the field close. Perry and Turner would run side-by-side for the last three laps with Perry pulling ahead at the checkers for his first Brownstown Pure Stock win. Following Perry and Turner was Brent McMillan, Preston Carr and Ross Smith.

Matt Cranmer recorded win number two for the year in Crown Vic feature action. Matt Cranmer led all twenty laps for the win. Trevor Cranmer, Dustin Cross, Todd Cain and Brandon Cranmer followed Matt Cranmer at the finish.

Cordell Moore got his second win of the year in the Hornet division. Moore took the lead on lap five and stayed there for the win. Scott Smith, Jeremy Shemwell, Michael Brewer and Shannon Walp rounded out the top five in a great race for second to fifth.

May 18, 2024 - The weather turned out to be great for "Saturday Night Racing" at the Speedway with five racing divisions on hand for the night.

Jug Wethington jumped to the early lead in the P3 Graphix Indiana Late Model Series Pro Late Model feature with Steve Peeden and Tyler Cain in tow. Peeden took over the lead near the halfway point of the race. Cain would run down Peeden, and the pair took the white flag door to door, Cain briefly took the lead in turn 1, but Peeden fought back to retake the lead heading down the backstretch. The duo came off turn 4 battling hard to the finish. Peeden hung on to the lead to get his first ILMS win of the year.

Tyler Cain took second ahead of Jug Wethington, Brent Lee & Marty O'Neal. Rounding out the top ten was Alan Magner, Tyler Neal, Zack Burton, Caleb Schryer & Zac Gibbs.

In Pewter Hall Super Stocks, Blake Hull worked his way from his fifth starting spot to take the lead on lap nine. Matt Boknecht caught Hull and was applying the pressure until a late race caution would halt the action. With a two-lap shootout, Hull would pull away to be the first repeat winner of the year in Super Stocks. Matt Boknecht, Tucker Chastain, Greg Amick & Tanner Chastain completed the top five.

Josh Turner would find victory lane again in Crossroads Truck Equipment Pure Stocks. Ross Smith would make the race interesting after a late race caution bunched the field, but Turner led flag-to-flag to record his 4th win of the racing season. Ross Smith, Cody Ellison, Jt Huffman & Tommy Fleenor followed Turner at the finish.

In Crown Vic feature action, Dustin Cross would lead from lap 5 to the checkers to record his second straight win and third win of the year. Ryan Woods, Dustin Wiggins, Dalton Fleenor & Todd Cain rounded out the top five.

The Hornet division feature saw Chris Hillman Jr. take the early lead with Skylar Ashley staying right on Hillman's bumper. Hillman would leave the race with mechanical issues near the halfway mark. Ahsley would take over the lead and go on to park in victory lane for the first time ever at Brownstown. Skylar Ashley would lead Curtis Roccia, Jeremy Shemwell, Michael Brewer & James Simmons at the checkers.

Castrol® FloRacing Night in America Rescheduled to Sept. 25th

Due to as much as a 90% chance of rain projected for the area for Monday night thru Wednesday morning, officials with Castrol® FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota and Brownstown Speedway have made the decision to reschedule the event scheduled for this Tuesday, May 14 to Wednesday, September 25th.

The event will now be held in advance of the 45th annual Jackson 100 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series weekend, which is set for September 27th & 28th.

Devin Gilpin Records Super Late Model Win...
Stapleton, McMillan, Cross, & Garrison Score Feature Wins.

May 11, 2024 - Saturday night racing at the Speedway featured two Late Model divisions. The Slicker Graphics Super Late Models and the P3 Graphix Indiana Late Model Series Pro Late Models were both on hand for racing action. Crossroads Truck Equipment Pure Stocks, Hornets & Crown Vics also joined in on the fun.

Adam Stricker jumped to the early lead in Slicker Graphics Super Late Models with Devin Gilpin in hot pursuit. On the restart, after a lap 9 caution, Tyler Collins joined in on the battle for the lead. Stricker, Gilpin & Collins would battle three wide down the backstretch. Gilpin took the lead for good with four laps to go and would go on to record his first win of the year.

Collins would end up second followed by Stricker, Shelby Miles & David Webb. Completing the top ten was Jordan Wever, Jared Bailey, Blake Creech, Matt Boknecht, & Brad Rickels.

Chad Stapleton battled Jug Wethington in the early part of the P3 Graphix Indiana Late Model Series Pro Late Model feature. Stapelton & Wethington would swap the lead a couple time before Stapleton would take the lead for good to get his first ILMS win of 2024. Derek Groomer would finish second from his 20th starting spot. Steve Peeden, Jug Wethington, and Marty O'Neal rounded out the top five.

Brent McMillan picked up his second win of the year in Crossroads Truck Equipment Pure Stocks. McMillan led the entire race but had to take evasive action to miss a spinning car that he was about to lap. Preston Carr, Josh Turner, Aj Wilson, & Ross Smith would follow McMillian at the finish.

Dustin Cross would lead all twenty laps of the Crown Vic feature to score his second win of the year. Eric Lewis would get beside Cross a few times during the event but just couldn't get to the lead. Lewis finished second with Matt Weston, Lane Arcaro, Dalton Fleenor rounding out the top five.

Chris Hillman Jr. and Michael Brewer swapped the lead several times in the early part of the Hornet division feature. Brewer would drop out with mechanical issues and Hillman lost his right rear tire with 6 laps to go. Conner Garrison who seemed to be catching Hillman would take over the lead after Hillman's misfortune. Garrison would go on to get his first ever Brownstown win. Nathan Jones, Jeremy Shemwell, Shannon Walp, Preston Righthouse followed Garrison at the checkers.

April 27, 2024 - Saturday night at the track would be the sixth racing event to take place for 2024 and it was only the last weekend of April. "Slicker Graphics" Super Late Models were on hand for $2000 to win.

Chad Stapleton jumped to the early lead in "Slicker Graphics" Super Late Models and had to hold off a charging (12th place starting) Devin Gilpin to get the win. Stapleton's first win of the year makes the third different Super Late Model winner out of three races in 2024.

Devin Gilpin, David Webb, Jordan Wever, & Matt Boknecht completed the top five. Sixth thru tenth was Cody Mahoney, Shelby Miles, Jared Bailey, Tyler Collins, & Robert Rainey.

Tucker Chastain became the fifth different winner for Pewter Hall Super Stocks out of five races this year. Zach Sasser & Blake Hull battled for the early lead and by the midway point of the race, Trey Chastain took over the lead. Tucker would move to second and with two to go, made the pass on his brother for the win. Trey Chastain would run second followed by Isaiah Sasser, Zach Sasser, & Greg Amick.

In Crossroads Truck Equipment Pure Stock action, Josh Turner would make it win number three out of the last four events. With side-by-side racing throughout the field, Turner caught leader Keaton Streeval with 4 laps to go and made the pass for the win. Streeval, Brent McMillan, Aj Wilson, & Ross Smith followed Turner at the checkers.

Blake Daniels would lead the Crown Vic feature until six laps to go when he would have mechanical issues. Eric Lewis who was chasing down Daniels took over the lead and went on to pick up his first win of the year. Lewis is the fourth different Crown Vic winner out of four races. Todd Cain, Matt Cranmer, Ryan Woods, & Stacie Fitzgerald rounded out the top five.

Michael Brewer made it win number three for the year in the Hornet division. Brewer would lead flag-to-flag in getting the win with great racing happening from second on back. Trailing Brewer at the checkers was Jeremy Shemwell, Scott Smith, Brian Pollitt, & James Simmons.
