Scott James Takes Jackson 100 Tune Up...
Gilpin, Boknecht, Pardue, and Mayer Winners ...

Sept 13, 2014 - Scott James Scott James "The Silver Shark" chomped down on the competition Saturday night taking home a victory in the Super Late Models.


A total of 36 Late Models took advantage of the last chance to compete prior to next week's $20,000 to win Jackson 100. James was followed to the checkers by Shelby Miles, John Gill, Chad Stapleton and Mark Barber.


Devin Gilpin continued winning in the "Fast Max" Modified division, registering his 9th season victory at Brownstown on the season.


Matt Boknecht in Woolston Automotive Super Stock action got his second win of 2014.


Ronnie Pardue became a Brownstown Speedway feature winner for the first time in his career, getting the Pure Stock feature win.


John Mayer Jr. picked up his second feature in-a-row in the Hornet division, recording his 3rd season win.

Bid on a Two-Seater Ride with Don O'Neal at Jackson 100...
Proceeds to Benefit Fellow Racer ...

Brownstown Speedway is currently taking bids for a two-seater Late Model ride with the 2013 Jackson 100 winner Don O'Neal. The winning bidder will get their ride this Saturday night Sept. 20th at the 35th Annual Jackson 100.


Former two-time Hornet track champion Lucas Jackson is undergoing surgery this Tuesday to have a heart pump put in. Lucas is currently on a waiting list to receive a heart transplant. Proceeds from the two-seater ride will go to Lucas and his family to help with expenses.


To bid on the two-seater ride, you can email your name, contact info and bid amount to twoseater@brownstownspeedway.com


Bids will be accepted by email until noon on Friday Sept. 19th and then at the track on Friday night Sept 19th. until 7:00 pm. The winning ride will be on Saturday night during the Jackson 100.

Jackson 100 Fast Approaching...

Jackson 100The 35th Annual Jackson 100 is Friday and Saturday nights September 19th and 20th. Again this year, the Jackson will feature the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series racing for the $20,000 to win top spot.


Friday night's activities will feature the Bowman Pro Late Models as they run for $2000 to win in the Bowman 50. Joining the Pro Late Models on Friday night will be the Pure Stocks, Drain Master Hornets, and MMSA Mini Sprints.


The Lucas Oil Late Models will also hold qualifications Friday night for Saturday's Jackson 100 heat races.


A special Bowman Pro Late Model "1st Time Winners" race sponsored by Schaefer Photos & Custom Tees will also be held paying $200 to win. Bowman Pro Late Model series drivers that have never won a feature and have compeeted in 75% of this year's series events will be eligible.


The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will take center stage on Saturday night with Heat races, B-mains and the 35th Jackson 100.


"Fast Max" UMP Modifieds and "Woolston Automotive" Super Stocks will join in on the Saturday night racing action.


Adult general admission tickets are $20 for Friday and $30 for Saturday with a Two Day Pass being offered for $45. Children ages 5-11 are $5. Tickets are currently on sale at Pivotal Online Tickets.

Hall of Fame Classic Feature Winners ...

Hall of Fame
Matt Boknecht, Phil Patton, Randy Petro, Terrence Johnson and John Davis were inducted into the Brownstown Speedway Hall of Fame.


Aug. 16, 2014 - Five new members of the Brownstown Speedway Hall of Fame were added Saturday night during the 10th Hall of Fame Classic. Randy Petro, Matt Boknecht, Terrence Johnson, John Davis and Phill Patton were inducted during the evening's ceremonies. The final member of this year's class, Don O'Neal, will be inducted in a ceremony during the Jackson 100.


The 10th annual Hall of Fame Classic racing action definitely didn't dissappoint a good crowd of fans in attendance. Jeremy Hines took the lead with four laps to go from Chad Stapleton as they battled through lapped traffic in a fast and furious Super Late Model feature and took home the feature win.


Hines registered his first ever Hall of Fame Classic win and his sixth Super Late Model season victory.


Rick Gumm took home his first 2014 win in "Fast Max" Modified action in another good feature event for the evening.


In Super Stock action, new Hall of Fame members Randy Petro and Matt Boknecht battled with Aaron Fields and Mike Fields in one of the best Super Stock races of the season. Petro took home the checkers for his 4th Brownstown win this year.


Chris Workman made it two-for-two in Pure Stocks getting his second feature win out of the last two races.


John Mayer Jr. picked up his second season win in the Hornet division.

Fan Appreciation Night Winners...

Aug. 02, 2014 - Marty OnealMarty Oneal has had a victory at Brownstown every year since 2010, in either a Super or Crate Late Model, and that streak stayed alive Saturday night as Oneal put his #19 Super Late Model in victory lane once again.


Oneal captured the feature win ahead of Jeremy Hines, Chad Stapleton, Gary Christian, Steve Barnett, Cody Mahoney, Shelby Miles, John Gill, Shannon Reed, and Justin Shaw.


Devin Gilpin was a winner again in "Fast Max" Modifieds. Gilpin has eight feature wins for the year, including the last three features in-a-row.


Chris Workman, currently second in Pure Stock points, won his first Pure Stock feature event at Brownstown for 2014.


Matt Hamilton visited the track in "Drain Master" Hornets for the first time this season and went home with his first ever Brownstown Speedway feature victory.

Gilpin, Cain and Ruddick Win Again ...

July 26, 2014 - Jeremy Hines Jeremy Hines started 14th on the field and powered his way to another Brownstown Super Late Model victory. Hines' victory in Jackson County Fair's final 2014 event, the 2nd Annual Paul Crockett Memorial, was his 5th victory of the season at Brownstown.


Hines finished ahead of Mark Barber, Brad Neat, Steve Barnett, and John Gill. Tanner English got the night started off in qualifying with a time of 13.928 seconds. Mark Barber, Tanner English and Brad Neat took heat race wins.


Devin Gilpin continued to dominate the "Fast Max" Modified division, getting his 7th season victory at Brownstown and recording his 27th overall victory for the year.


Tyler Cain got his 6th feature (3 out of the last 4) win at the track this year in Woolston Automotive Super Stock action.


Jim Ruddick picked up the Pure Stock feature win, his 5th season win, as intense lightning closed out the event.

"Thursday Thunder" Fair Race Winners ...

July 24, 2014 - Cody MahoneyHanover, Indiana's Cody Mahoney drove to his 4th Bowman Pro Late Model victory of the season, picking up the "Thursday Thunder" fair race at the Jackson County Fair. Thirty-eight Pro Late Models were on hand for the $1000 to win event.


Mahoney driving Adam Bowman's Pro Late Model finished ahead of Steve Barnett, Steve Godsey, Mark Barber and Jim Beeman.


Randy Petro of Columbus, Indiana picked up win #3 on the year at Brownstown Speedway in the "Woolston Automotive" Super Stock division.


No one claimed the "bounty" on Devin Gilpin, as Devin recorded his 6th win at Brownstown for 2014 holding off all thirty-one challengers in UMP "Fast Max" Modifieds. Nascar's Kenny Wallace was also on hand for the event and ran second to Gilpin in the heat race, but dropped out of the feature with mechanical issues.


Greg Garrison in "Drain Master" Hornet action captured a "Thursday Thunder" race victory. Garrison's win gives him 6 feature wins for the season at the track and makes him the winningest Hornet division driver of all time at Brownstown.

Carr is Pure Stock Special Winner...
Hines, Bailey, Cain and Mayer Get Victories...

July 12, 2014 - Dusten CarrDusten Carr claimed the top spot in the Pure Stock Special feature Saturday night, recording his fourth win of the year.


Jim Ruddick, Mickey Hines, Brad Kemp, and Bodi Henry followed Carr to the finish. Shayne Wilson started off the night with a new track record of 17.174 during Pure Stock qualifications.


Jeremy Hines got his third Super Late Model victory out of the last four races held at the Speedway. Hines has four wins on the season. Justin Shaw, Joe Janowski, Steve Barnett, and Tim Prince completed the top five.


Jared Bailey picked up his first ever Modified victory at the track earlier this season and followed it up Saturday night with his second "Fast Max" UMP Modified victory of 2014.


Tyler Cain made it two in-a-row in Super Stocks following last week's Super Stock special victory. Cain has 5 feature wins on the season.


John Mayer Jr. was victorious in Drain Master Hornet action. Mayer last recorded a victory in 2009 when he claimed the Hornet track championship.

Stapleton, R. Thomas, M, Hines and Owens Winners...

July 5, 2014 - Tyler CainCurrent points leader Tyler Cain battled Matt Boknecht for the lead for most of the 30-lap special event. He then had to hold off a late race charge from Mike Fields in the team car to capture the 2014 Woolston Automotive Super Stock Special.


Cain recorded his 4th win on the season and was followed by Mike Fields, Josh Phelps, Aaron Fields, and Jack Frye at the finish.


Chad Stapleton charged to the Super Late Model victory battling Jeremy Hines until the very last lap to get his first season win at the speedway. Jeremy Hines, Steve Barnett, Joe Janowski, and Marty Oneal completed the top five.


Ryan Thomas picked up win number four on the year in the "Fast Max" UMP Modifieds.


Mickey Hines made it two in-a-row in Pure Stock action.


Jacob Owens got his 4th win of the season in the Drain Master Hornet division.
