Feb. 28, 2015 - Schaefer PhotosDrivers' at Brownstown Speedway will have the opportunity this season to compete for Rookie of the Year titles, thanks to Schaefer Photos & Custom Tees.


A "Schaefer Photos & Custom Tees Rookie of the Year" title will be awarded in each division that regularly competes at Brownstown Speedway.


Drivers need notify track personel, at the draw window, of their intent to run for Rookie of the Year in their division prior to their second point's race of 2015.

TSI Circle Track Parts and Service Opens March 2nd,
Sets Open House for February 28th....

Feb. 6, 2015 - Track Service Inc., Brownstown Speedway's new track service provider, will be open for business March 2nd. TSI will be conducting an open house on Feb 28th from 10am to 4pm at their new location at 528 Circle St. in Seymour, IN.


TSI is committed to providing high quality race products and service to the local racing community and will have tires and fuel on hand for this event, as well as specials on certain items. Complimentary food and beverage will be provided and drawings for various prizes from VP Racing Fuel and Hoosier Racing Tire.


At 3pm TSI will be drawing for at least 1 FREE Hoosier Tire for those people signed up. VP Racing Fuel will also have reps on hand to discuss and answer questions regarding VP Fuel.


As an added bonus, TSI will have a shock dyno on hand to check your shocks(limit 4/person) for the upcoming season, free of charge. Please be sure to join TSI for their first event of the 2015 season.

Brownstown Speedway Releases 2015 Schedule..

Jan. 15, 2015 - Brownstown Speedway will kick off its 64th year of racing on March 7th with an open practice and then one week later on March 14th racing action will begin for 2015 with the "Opening Night" event.


This year's schedule will feature a heavy dose of Super Late Model and Bowman Pro Late Model events, with the Modifieds, Super Stocks, Pure Socks and Hornets joining in to compete for 2015 points titles at the Speedway.


The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will again be featured for the $10,000 to win "Indiana Icebreaker" on March 21st and the ever popular $20,000 to win "Jackson 100" September 18th-19th. The Bowman Pro Late Models will also run at the March 21st Icebreaker for $1000 to win and the night before the Jackson 100 at the $2000 to win Bowman 50.


The Late Models will run for $5000 to win twice in 2015 with the Wednesday running of the "Hoosier Dirt Classic/Summer Nationals" event on June 10th and then again on July 4th for the "Born Free 40" a new event added to this year's schedule. The traditional Jackson County Grand Champion Fair/Paul Crockett Memorial race and the Hall of Fame Classic are also on the 2015 schedule for Late Models.


Sprint car fans have not been left out either. The early season "No Way Out 40" for non-wing sprint cars paying $7500 to win will be run on March 28th and is a must see for sprint car fans. Brownstown Speedway will also host two other sprint car series races in 2015. The Renegade Sprint Series will invade the Speedway on June 6th for the first time with "Winged Sprint Car" action. Winged Sprint Cars last competed at the Speedway in 1999 with Kelly Kinser getting the victory. The Midwest Sprint Car Series (MSCS) will try again in 2015 to bring their highly competitive Non-Wing Sprint action to the track for the first time on August 22nd, as last year's inaugural appearance was rained out.


The Kenny Wallace Driving Experience will be at the track twice in 2015 and "Funfest" is also on the 2015 schedule.

Champions to be Crowned January 17th...

Brownstown Speedway will celebrate the 2014 racing season and crown the track Champions in each division on Saturday night January 17th. The Bowman Pro Late Model Series champion will also be honored that evening. The top ten drivers in each division and the Bowman Pro Late Models will receive point fund money and awards.


2014 ChampsClick Here The Super Late Model track Champion for 2014 is Jeremy Hines. Jeremy took home six feature wins during the 2014 season and finished 2nd three times. Jeremy is now a two-time Track Champion as he also took the Late Model title in 2012.


The "Fast Max" Modified track Champion for 2014 is Joe Godsey. Joe claimed only one feature win at the Speedway this season, but his 13 top five finishes out of 18 point races propelled Joe to the 2014 title. This will be Joe's first track championship.


In Woolston Automotive Super Stocks Tyler Cain claimed the 2014 championship. Tyler finished in the top spot in six feature events this season. This will make two Super Stock championships for Tyler as he was crowned the 2012 champion. Tyler will also be awarded the 2014 UMP Dirtcar Sportsman National Champion at the UMP banquet.


The Pure Stock division will crown Jim Ruddick as the 2014 Champion. Jim's five Pure Stock feature wins in the highly competitive Pure Stock division was enough to claim the title. This is Jim's first ever track championship at Brownstown.


Greg Garrison notched eight feature wins in the Drain Master Hornet division and will be the 2014 Hornet Track Champion. Greg's eight 2014 wins makes him the winningest driver ever in the Hornet division at Brownstown in total career victories. This will be Greg's first Brownstown Speedway championship.


The Bowman Pro Late Model Series will honor Brad Barrow as its champion. Brad had three series victories and finished in the top five eight out of nine races. This will be Brad's first Pro Late Model title, making him the sixth different series champion in the series' six years of existance.


The doors to the banquet on January 17th at Pewter Hall in Brownstown will open at 5:30 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:30 pm. Presentations and entertainment will follow dinner. Short, Gill and Mother Nature win First Night of Funfest..

Oct. 9, 2014 - The 19th Annual FunFest kicked off Thursday night with over 160 cars on the grounds. After two rounds of hot lap sessions for each class, the "Trick or Treat" races started. The winner of those races gets to choose cash or a starting spot on the pole for their feature event when it is run on either Friday or Saturday night.


The Non-wing Sprint cars were the first to race and Brady Short picked up the win. Brady chose to turn down $500 cash and start on the pole of his feature.


The Super Late Models were next with John Gill taking the win as the rain started to fall. John took the $500 cash for his "Trick or Treat" choice.


Mother Nature won out the rest of evening and forced the rest of the "Trick or Treat" races to be postponed until noon Friday.


FunFest will continue at noon Friday with the "Trick or Treat" races and then follow the normal schedule of events Friday evening.

Sept 27, 2014 - The Bowman Pro Late Models visited Brownstown for the seventh time this season and Cody Mahoney claiming his 4th Brownstown feature win. Mahoney has won 5 out of the 9 Bowman Pro Late Model features ran in 2014


Mahoney was followed by Mark Barber, Brad Barrow, Steve Godsey, and Adam Bowman at the finish. Brad Barrow with 3 Bowman Pro Late Model victories, captured the 2014 championship for the series.


Jared Bailey picked up win number three on the year in the "Fast Max" Modifieds. Joe Godsey is the 2014 Modified track champion.


Matt Boknecht won in "Woolston Automotive" Super Stock action for the third week in-a-row and the fourth time this season. Tyler Cain claimed the Super Stock championship for 2014.


Troy Clark got his first victory in the Pure Stocks. Jim Ruddick is the Pure Stock track champion.


Greg Garrison recorded his 8th win in the Hornet division and became the 2014 "Drain Master" Hornet track champion.

Scott Bloomquist Wins Record Fifth Jackson 100...

Sept 20, 2014 - Scott Bloomquist continued his hot streak this month by winning the 35th Annual Jackson 100 on Saturday Night at Brownstown Speedway. Bloomquist steered his Ole Smoky Moonshine, Andy Durham-powered, Sweet-Bloomquist car to victory lane in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned event, earning a $20,000 pay day. Bloomquist took the lead for good on the 11th lap from Steve Francis and led the rest of the way for the victory.


Bloomquist was followed to the checkers by Don O'Neal, Chris Simpson, Mike Marlar, and Dale McDowell. Earl Pearson, Jr., Dennis Erb, Jr., Jonathan Davenport, Gregg Satterlee, and Steve Francis rounded out the top ten.


Ryan Thomas got the win in "Fast Max" Modifieds, recording his fifth win of the season at the track.


Matt Boknecht won in "Woolston Automotive" Super Stock action for the second week in-a-row. Boknecht has three Super Stock victories for 2014.


Don O'Neal received his induction into the Brownstown Speedway Hall of Fame.

Sept 19, 2014 - Brad BarrowBrad Barrow made a last lap pass on Joe Godsey to claim the Bowman Pro Late Model's "Bowman 50" feature and take home the $2000 top spot.

Barrow, the current Bowman Pro Late Model point leader, now has three wins on the season.


Ronnie Pardue notched his second Brownstown Speedway feature in-a-row in the Pure Stock division after getting his first ever win last week.


Greg Garrison took the Hornet division feature win over Jacob Owens. Garrison has seven feature wins at Brownstown in the Hornets this year.


Drew Dorsett picked up a win in the MMSA Mini Sprint feature.


Matt Patus got the win in the "1st Time Winners" race.

Scott James Takes Jackson 100 Tune Up...
Gilpin, Boknecht, Pardue, and Mayer Winners ...

Sept 13, 2014 - Scott James Scott James "The Silver Shark" chomped down on the competition Saturday night taking home a victory in the Super Late Models.


A total of 36 Late Models took advantage of the last chance to compete prior to next week's $20,000 to win Jackson 100. James was followed to the checkers by Shelby Miles, John Gill, Chad Stapleton and Mark Barber.


Devin Gilpin continued winning in the "Fast Max" Modified division, registering his 9th season victory at Brownstown on the season.


Matt Boknecht in Woolston Automotive Super Stock action got his second win of 2014.


Ronnie Pardue became a Brownstown Speedway feature winner for the first time in his career, getting the Pure Stock feature win.


John Mayer Jr. picked up his second feature in-a-row in the Hornet division, recording his 3rd season win.

Hall of Fame Classic Feature Winners ...

Matt Boknecht, Phil Patton, Randy Petro, Terrence Johnson and John Davis were inducted into the Brownstown Speedway Hall of Fame.


Aug. 16, 2014 - Five new members of the Brownstown Speedway Hall of Fame were added Saturday night during the 10th Hall of Fame Classic. Randy Petro, Matt Boknecht, Terrence Johnson, John Davis and Phill Patton were inducted during the evening's ceremonies. The final member of this year's class, Don O'Neal, will be inducted in a ceremony during the Jackson 100.


The 10th annual Hall of Fame Classic racing action definitely didn't dissappoint a good crowd of fans in attendance. Jeremy Hines took the lead with four laps to go from Chad Stapleton as they battled through lapped traffic in a fast and furious Super Late Model feature and took home the feature win.


Hines registered his first ever Hall of Fame Classic win and his sixth Super Late Model season victory.


Rick Gumm took home his first 2014 win in "Fast Max" Modified action in another good feature event for the evening.


In Super Stock action, new Hall of Fame members Randy Petro and Matt Boknecht battled with Aaron Fields and Mike Fields in one of the best Super Stock races of the season. Petro took home the checkers for his 4th Brownstown win this year.


Chris Workman made it two-for-two in Pure Stocks getting his second feature win out of the last two races.


John Mayer Jr. picked up his second season win in the Hornet division.
