Remaining Arm Bands to Receive Refund

Anyone that still has an arm band from the Sept. 5th rain-out, may bring them to the Pit office on Thursday night of Fun Fest from 5:00 to 9:00 pm to receive a refund. Other refunds times may be announced during Fun Fest.

Matt Bex Picks Up First Super LM Victory...
Hines, Godsey, Boknecht, Rivers, and Burton Winners

Matt BexSept. 26, 2015 - Matt Bex has recorded multiple wins at Brownstown Speedway in other divisions throughout his racing career. Saturday night Bex added his name to Brownstown Speedway's Super Late Model winners list by getting his first ever Super Late Model victory in the Duke Mounce Enterprises #80 Late Model.

Bex jumped out to the early lead and held off challenges from Chad Stapleton during the 25-lap event. Steve Barnett, Tyler Allen and Alan Magner followed Bex and Stapleton at the checkers.

The Indiana Late Model Series feature event definitely didn't disappoint the fans. Jeremy Hines ran down race leader Marty Oneal and pulled off a last lap pass on his way to the victory, his second ILMS win for the year. The event was the ILMS's final points race for 2015 and Marty Oneal will be crowned the 2015 Champion.

In other racing action Joe Godsey(Modifieds), Matt Boknecht(Super Stocks), and Austin Burton(Hornets) added to their yearly victory totals. Godsey has 6 wins, Boknecht 8 wins, and Burton 8 wins for the year.

Brownstown Speedway's 2013 Super Late Model Champion Tim Rivers recorded his first ever Pure Stock feature win driving his Salem Speedway asphalt stock car.

Jonathan Davenport Takes Jackson 100...
Joe Godsey & Tyler Cain Get Feature Wins...

Jonathan DavenportJonathan Davenport continued his dazzling season on Saturday night at Brownstown Speedway by winning the 36th Annual Jackson 100. Davenport took over the lead on lap 49 from Brandon Sheppard, and dashed to his first-ever win in the historic event.

Trailing Davenport to the finish line was Mike Marlar, who was also looking for his first-career win in the crown-jewel event. Devin Moran, pole-sitter Brandon Sheppard, and Don O'Neal completed the top five.

Completing the Top-10 were Scott Bloomquist, Jared Landers, Jimmy Owens, Dale McDowell, and Mason Zeigler.

Current Modified point leader Joe Godsey and Super Stock point leader Tyler Cain each picked up feature wins in their divisions. Godsey has five Modified wins & Cain has nine Super Stock wins at Brownstown for 2015.

Devin Gilpin Wins Bowman 50...
Workman, Burton, Davis Winners & Marlar Fastest Lucas Oil LM

Devin GilpinDevin Gilpin has been one of the winningest dirt drivers in the country in 2015 and Friday night he added a Bowman 50 win to his totals. The win was however, his first ever Indiana Late Model Series victory and first ever Brownstown Speedway Pro Late Model win. Gilpin has 15 wins at the track this year; 9(Modified), 5(Super Late Model) and 1(Pro Late Model).

Gilpin was followed by Marty Oneal, Jeremy Hines, Adam Bowman, and Grant Garrison at the finish.

Alan Magner won the special Schaefer Photo & Custom Tees "1st Time Winners" race for ILMS Pro Late Models.

Chris Workman recorded his second Pure stock win for the year and Austin Burton in Hornets got win number seven for the season.

Mitchell Davis in MMSA Mini Sprint action picked up his first ever Brownstown Speedway feature win.

During qualifications for Saturday's Jackson 100, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Miller Welders Fast Time went to Mike Marlar at 13.558 seconds.

Hornet Special to Burton...
Rattliff, Bowman, Boknecht & Ruddick Winners...

Aug. 29, 2015 - Saturday night was the Hornet Special at the track. Austin Burton cruised to the victory, registering his sixth season win.

Burton was followed by Lee Stephenson, Brian Moore, Donnie Modesty, and Trent Wyzard. Burton & Stephenson won the heat races. Burton was also fastest in time trials with a new hornet track record of 18.661 seconds.

Kentucky driver, Justin Rattliff paid a visit to the Speedway and left with the "P3 Graphix" Super Late Model victory. Rattliff finished ahead of Mike Jewell, Chad Stapleton, Steve Godsey, and Steve Barnett.

Adam BowmanIn Indiana Late Model Series racing, Adam Bowman captured his first ever ILMS and Brownstown Speedway victory in one of the best Pro Late Model races of the season. The top five drivers all had a shot at winning, but when the checkers fell, Bowman came out on top with Steve Barnett, Hudson Oneal, Brad Barrow and Marty Oneal following.

Matt Boknecht would get the win in "Woolston Automotive" Super Stocks, in another hard fought Super Stock battle. Boknecht has 7 Super Stock victories at the Speedway.

Jim Ruddick would come home the winner in the "Tony Ogle Expedited Express" Pure Stock feature, his 3rd on the year.

Short Takes MSCS Non-Wing Sprint Win...
Oneal, Bailey, Boknecht & C. Ambrose Get Wins...

Brady ShortAug. 22, 2015 - The Midwest Sprint Car Series made their first ever visit to Brownstown Speedway Saturday night, but a familiar face found his way to victory lane. Brady Short and Dickie Gaines would wage a fierce battle for the lead throughout the 25 lap non-wing sprint feature.

Bedford Indiana's Brady Short would prevail over Dickie Gaines with Nick Bilbee, Bub Cummings, and Stephen Taylor completing the top five. Short now has 5 career sprint car victories at Brownstown.

The ILMS Pro Late Models were also on the racing card for the evening with Marty Oneal getting the win over Joe Janowski, Brad Barrow, Alan Magner and Hudson Oneal in another good Pro Late Model feature.

Jared Bailey would become only the third Modified winner this year at the track, getting the "Fast Max" Modified victory.

Matt Boknecht and Tyler Cain have battled all year in "Woolston Automotive" Super Stocks and Saturday night was no different. Boknecht would get the victory over Cain, recording his sixth 2015 feature win.

The Midwest Mini-Sprint Association's Winged Mini Sprints made their first 2015 appearance at the track with veteran driver Collin Ambrose capturing the feature win.

Visit "Hall of Fame Classic" Victory Lane...

Aug. 15, 2015 - Saturday night's Hall of Fame Classic race fans got to witness some of the most competitive feature events of the season.

Jeremy Hines picked up his second "P3 Graphix" Super Late Model win for the year and recorded his second "Hall of Fame Classic" victory in a row.

Hines coming from his 11th starting spot, battled Josh Rice to the checkers to get the win. Matt Bex, Joe Janowski and "P3 Graphix" Hard Charger winner Cody Mahoney (from 21st starting spot) completed the top five.

Brownstown Speedway Hall of Famer, Steve Barnett, charged from his 10th starting spot to get the victory in a competitive ILMS Pro Late Model feature. Barnett who last recorded a Brownstown win six years ago to the day (Aug. 15, 2009) was followed by Joe Janowski, Steve Godsey, Adam Bowman and Grant Garrison.

Joe Godsey picked up his 4th win in "Fast Max" UMP Modifieds out of the last five races.

Tyler Cain notched his eighth win in "Woolston Automotive" Super Stock action.

Austin Burton parked his ride in victory lane for the 5th time this year in "DrainMaster Drain & Sewer Service" Hornets.

Hall of Fame

Jim Curry Jr., Marty O'Neal, Kevin Claycomb, Claude Kern & Bob Ratcliff were inducted into the Brownstown Speedway Hall of Fame at the evenings Hall of Fame ceremony.
