Bloomquist Dominates, Gets 6th Jackson 100...
Devin Gilpin and Tim Eddelman Visit Victory Lane...

Sept. 24, 2016 - Scott Bloomquist(Mooresburg, TN) led 97 of the 100 laps on Saturday Night at Brownstown Speedway, winning his sixth career Jackson 100. He earned $20,000 for winning the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned event.

Bloomquist passed Dennis Erb Jr. for the lead early in the race and was briefly challenged by Darrell Lanigan and Jimmy Owens..


Owens, Lanigan, Tim McCreadie and Chris Simpson would finish 2nd thru 5th.


Completing the top ten was Dennis Erb Jr., Don O'Neal, Dustin Linville, Cody Mahoney, and Hudson O'Neal.


Devin Gilpin would cruise to his 3rd 2016 UMP Modified feature win at the track.


Tim Eddelman would also pick up his 3rd "Woolston Automotive" Super Stock feature for the year, battling to a close finish at the checkers with Mike Fields.

Jason Jameson Wins Bowman 50...
Tim Rivers, John Mayer Jr., and Ty Tilton Winners...

Jason JamesonSept. 23, 2016 - Jason Jameson(Lawrenceburg) notched his first ever Indiana Late Model Series victory Friday night, by winning the biggest event of the year, the Bowman 50. For Jameson, it was his third career win at Brownstown as he has had a previous Super Late Model and Super Stock victory at the track.


Jameson was followed Marty Oneal, Justin Shaw, Austin Burns and Steve Barnett at the finish.


Austin Burns won the special "1st Time Winners" race for the ILMS.


Tim Rivers(Salem) would record his 7th season "Staff Management" Pure Stock victory.


John Mayer Jr.(Edinburgh) would pick up his 3rd win of the year and his second feature in-a-row in Pewter Hall Hornets.


Ty Tilton took home the MMSA non-wing Mini Sprint top prize, getting the feature win.

Mahoney Tunes Up for Jackson 100...
M. Oneal, Groomer, Wilson and Clark Victorious...

Cody MahoneySept. 17, 2016 - It was the last chance for the Super Late Models to tune up before the Jackson 100 and Cody Mahoney(Hanover) powered his way to a second straight E-Z Lift Super Late Model feature win. Mahoney has three wins at the Speedway for 2016, all coming in the last four E-Z Lift Super Late Model feature events.


Mahoney was followed by Steve Casebolt, Jeremy Hines, Chad Stapleton and Hudson Oneal at the finish.


Marty Oneal(Spencer) would pick up his third "P3 Graphix" Indiana Pro Late Model Series victory at Brownstown for the year. Tyler Cain, Geraid Gault, Brad Barrow and Remington Gill followed Oneal at the checkers.


After a couple of early season UMP Modified feature wins, Derek Groomer(Bloomington) found victory lane once again in UMP Modifieds.


Jamey Wilson(Seymour) would notch season win number five in "Woolston Automotive" Super Stock action.


Troy Clark(North Vernon) would get his second "Staff Management" Pure Stock season victory.

Cody Mahoney Takes Hall of Fame Classic...
H. Oneal, Owens, Garrison and Hayes Winners...

Cody MahoneySept. 3, 2016 - Cody Mahoney(Hanover) motored from his front row starting spot to take the Hall of Fame Classic win for the E-Z Lift Super Late Models. Hudson Oneal(Martinsville) in his Super Late Model debut tried running down Mahoney from his sixth starting spot as they maneuvered through lap traffic.


A late race caution gave Mahoney clean track and he powered away from the field to record his second feature win out of his last two Super Late Model starts. Hudson Oneal, Joe Godsey, Jared Bailey and Matt Bex completed the top five.


Hudson Oneal(Martinsville) continued his dominance in the "P3 Graphix" Indiana Pro Late Model Series at Brownstown, recording his sixth straight feature win and eighth Brownstown victory for the year. Hudson has eleven series feature wins for 2016. Marty Oneal, Justin Shaw, Brad Barrow and Remington Gill followed Hudson at the finish.


The other three division for the night would produce three new visits to victory lane for 2016.


Jeremy Owens(North Vernon) would park his UMP Modified into victory lane for the first time in 2016. Owens last win in the Modified division came in 2015 at FunFest.


Bloomington's Greg Garrison is no stranger to victory lane at Brownstown in the Hornet division, but got his first ever "Woolston Automotive" Super Stock victory Saturday night in his rookie season in Super Stocks.


Josh Hayes(Seymour) visited victory lane for the first time in 2016 as he took home the "Staff Management" Pure Stock top spot.

Danny Holtgraver Powers to All Star Sprint Victory...
Dale Blaney Fastest Ever At Brownstown...

Aug. 27, 2016 - Tony Stewart's "Arctic Cat" All Star Circuit of Champion 410 Winged Sprint Car series rolled into Brownstown Speedway Saturday night with 30 winged sprint cars and series owner Tony Stewart on hand. The All Star Circuit of Champion 410 Winged Sprint Car series last visited Brownstown in June of 1999.


Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native Danny Holtgraver jumped to the lead on lap one and powered his way to the All Star winged sprint victory. Holtgraver held off charges by Dale Blaney, Randy Hannagan, and Sheldon Haudenschild to score the $5,000 top prize.


Hartford, Ohio's Dale Blaney now has the record for the fastest lap ever ran at the Speedway, as he recorded a qualifying lap of 11.318 seconds during All Star Circuit of Champion sprint car qualifications. Actually, twenty-five drivers broke the old track record of 12.404 seconds during sprint car qualifying.


Hudson Oneal(Martinsville, IN) recorded his fifth straight "P3 Graphix" Indiana Pro Late Model Series victory at Brownstown, making it seven Brownstown wins for the year. Hudson now has ten series feature wins for 2016. Justin Shaw, Marty Oneal, Austin Burns and Mat Bex would round out the top five.


A pair of Kentucky racers would do battle in the UMP Modified feature. Danville, Ky's Victor Lee would battle Utica, Ky's Josh Harris in a competitive modified feature. Victor Lee would win the battle to record his 2nd season victory at Brownstown.

Marlar Captures BoB Race...
H. Oneal, Wilson, Ruddick and Mayer Winners... ...

Mike MarlarAug. 6, 2016 - Winfield Tennessee's Mike Marlar rolled into Brownstown Speedway for the first time in 2016 to compete with the Battle of the Bluegrass Ultimate Super Late Model Series and had a successful night.


Marlar started the night off by becoming the first Late Model driver at Brownstown to run a lap under 13 seconds. Marlar set fast time for the event with a new track record in qualifications of 12.937 seconds. Marlar also picked up his heat win and then went on to capture the $3000 top spot in the BoB Series 30 lap feature event.


A pair of Kentucky drivers Dustin Linville(Bryantsville, KY) and Derek Fisher(Olympia, KY) would battle for second with Linville getting the spot. Jeremy Hines(Seymour) and Chad Stapleton(Edinburgh) would come home fourth and fifth.


Hudson Oneal(Martinsville, IN) keeps winning in "P3 Graphix" Indiana Pro Late Model Series action getting his fourth Brownstown win in a row. Hudson now has nine series feature wins for 2016.


Seymour's Jamey Wilson would get his fourth Brownstown Speedway 2016 feature win in the "Woolston Automotive" Super Stock feature.


Jim Ruddick(Seymour) picked up his second "Staff Management" Pure Stock feature win.


John Mayer Jr.(Edinburgh) would record his 2nd season victory in "Pewter Hall" Hornets.
